Job Title: Accessory Supply Analyst
Location: Hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days remote)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $32 - $36 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accessory Supply Analyst to manage and optimize inventory for port, PDC, and dealer parts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing inventory data, ensuring part availability, and supporting inventory management processes. This position plays a critical role in maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Fill Rate, Backorder Lines, and Inventory objectives, while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet operational needs and improve customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Update and validate inventory data, including pipeline and transfer files. Initiate purchase orders and transfers to ensure adequate stock at ports and PDCs.
- Reporting & Analysis: Analyze inventory levels and KPIs (Fill Rate, Backorder Lines, etc.) and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with brands, ports, and other teams to fulfill business needs, including resolving part shortages and backorders.
- Process Improvement: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management, ensuring compliance through audits and regular reviews.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle special projects, analysis requests, and other tasks as needed, including inventory forecasting and order monitoring.
- Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity by querying the Data Warehouse (DW) and working with IT to resolve any issues.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Expedite critical parts and monitor inventory transfers to minimize costs.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, and act on KPIs to meet objectives.
- Participate in port audits and monthly inventory updates.
- Communicate part shortages, excess/obsolete inventory, and other metrics to management.
- Support the expediting team to resolve urgent inventory needs at ports.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in inventory management or related fields.
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Experience with Access or other SQL-based tools preferred
- Other: Ability to work independently and proactively with a customer-focused mindset.
