Job Description
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Training and experience in the use of GD&T
- Understanding of measurement methods
- Experienced with use of Oracle modules related to manufacturing.
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and complete projects.
- Basic understanding of statistical tools and their application to manufacturing processes (ie, process capability studies, establishing process control limits, etc)
- Experience working in an ISO regulated manufacturing facility.
- Works well with others and can coordinate efforts with own and other departments.
- Able to operate independently with limited oversight.
- High attention to detail
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum)
Experience Required: 5+ Years.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review validation reports and/or first article submissions for new supplied components.
- Assist in coordinating across technical disciplines within the organization, suppliers, joint venture partners and/or OEM partners.
- Demonstrated ability to implement Mechanical Design/ GD&T into complex parts.
- Demonstrated technical, front-end engagement with electromechanical, machining, sheet metal and/or plastics suppliers.
- Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of problems involving the approval of suppliers components into Client manufacturing processes.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
