We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V-280, part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell's Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor. This position is onsite in Fort Worth however, exceptions for alternate work arrangements may be considered. Supplier Quality Assurance
Supplier Quality Assurance plays a pivotal role in managing the supply base quality performance while mitigating risk and driving improvements throughout the supply chain. This includes qualifying suppliers through their management systems and capabilities, monitoring and partnering for quality performance improvement, and communicating and supporting business objectives to ensure that quality product and processes are compliant at first receipt and throughout life of program.
What you'll be doing as a Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist
_Performs Supplier Audits of Classified and Major suppliers, Processors and Service Providers, as applicable_
_Creates and utilizes source inspection work plans (Creates works plans for use by Source Inspection or Suppliers)_ _Coordinates answers to Supplier Reports and Corrective Actions (facilitates Root Cause Corrective Action activities with Supplier)s as a result of Audit, Compliance, or Product deficiencies or escapes.)_ _Performs source inspections of product_ _Conducts First Article Inspections, including validation and verification of engineering characteristics and requirements_ _Provides input and data for CAB I and CAB II meetings (Corrective Action Board)_ _Interacts with internal and external customers_ _Supports cross functional teams engaged in continuous improvement initiatives_ _Performs various administrative activities related supplier quality information in the company's ERP system_ _Independently determines and develops approaches to and solutions compliantly within policies & procedures_ _Leverages experience and knowledge for the improvement of the organization_ _Support Customer Service organization on RCCA on Buy part returns as necessary._
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role
* _Familiarity with methods of inspection, processes control and improvement techniques_
_Familiarity with prevalent industry Quality Systems & Records (inclusive of retention requirements and backup)_
_Familiarity with Metrology/Calibration for purposes of audit and measurement system analysis_ _Strong business acumen_
_Understands how businesses work_ _Knowledgeable in current polices and makes recommendations regarding future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the organization_ _Aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace_ _Proven problem-solving skills: Demonstrates an advanced level of root-cause analysis_
What you need to be successful
_Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Aerospace degree preferred)._
_5 years relevant experience in_ _Supplier Quality Assurance_
_Excellent presentation skills_
_Ability to work in cross-functional teams_ _Ability to travel up to 50% to support other sites._ _Good communication skills, written and verbal_
_Preferred Qualifications:_
_Experience with CAD tools like Catia V 5/6, MATLAB and ANSYS, SAP, Enovia_

Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is
$69,900 - $129,900 per year.
