Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for management of the Order Processing operations in accordance with established goals for customer service, efficiency and productivity.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $66,560 - $88,200K per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees orders and monitors order growth in the Order Management System. Releases orders for printing and fulfillment as needed to meet delivery dates and to stay ahead of volume.
Oversees order fulfillment progress to meet shipping date windows for on-time delivery.
Responsible for all Volume Savings personnel, including training, development and productivity. Supervises in accordance with the union contract and coordinates the activities of Volume Savings within Operations and other departments.
Staffs to business needs and established productivity goals.
Oversees carrier delivery times for customer date wanted (and any special instructions). Coordinates Northern California deliveries with local carriers; coordinates shipments of filled orders to Los Angeles for local shipments from Carson warehouse.
Implements and maintains operational and processing procedures. Actively directs ongoing cross-training of Order Processing and Shipping employees, including forepersons.
Coordinates product availability and supply with Operations and Sales to ensure adequate candy supply at all times. Maintains accurate inventory.
Evaluates contracted carriers to include performance metrics. Develops and nurtures ongoing relationships with each carrier counterpart. Ensures that special delivery instructions and service requests are carried out.
Maintain budget plans and goals.
Ensures that warehouse space is utilized properly, and equipment is maintained.
Completes administrative responsibilities, including safety program management, payroll, scheduling, and timely feedback to employees.
Completes special projects as assigned by management.
Day and Night shift operations may be required at peak periods. Additional responsibilities during non-peak periods include coordinating picking of product in Shipping Warehouse and merging of orders in Fulfillment Warehouse.
During non-peak periods, assists Main warehouse management with shift oversight.

Minimum Qualifications:
At least five years’ experience in management of less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers, parcel, or warehouse picking lines.
Excellent management skills including supervising and motivating employees at all levels.
Personal computer proficiency required.
Bachelor degree in Business in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
Warehouse Management System and intermediate proficiency in Excel preferred.
