JobSummary
This position will have primary responsibility for coordinating the overall activities of consumers, ensuring a work environment that will provide the means to strengthen the capabilities, opportunities and diversity of the programs offered. The Team Leader will coordinate activities with the State Counselor Analyst and the VR Contract Manager. The Team Leader will provide technical support to rehabilitation team members and support the activities of all consumers in the rehabilitation process. As appropriate, the Team Leader will also be responsible for providing counseling and guidance in a professional manner to individuals with disabilities in order that they may attain and maintain competitive employment in the least restrictive environment.
PrimaryDuties

The leadership position will include consultation on staffing patterns, facilitation of quality assurance activities, development and optimizing team goals by providing coaching, guidance, training and evaluation to staff. The Team Leader will also monitor the quality of VR services delivery.
The Team Leader will have counseling duties to include career planning, assessment or the coordination of assessment services, review of documentation for eligibility determination and development of Individualized Plan of Employment.
The coordination duties of the Team Leader will include communicating with the Assistant Project Director and VP of Operations, the State of Florida Counselor/Analyst, VR Area Director, VR auditors, One-Stop Career Center staff and the counseling team. Ensuring that all DVR Contractual obligations are met for their Team.
The Team Leader will be responsible for maintaining documentation of counseling interactions, consumer choice, case proceedings, and management of resources to ensure fiscal accountability. This includes oversight of Internal Quality Control and Face to Face monthly meetings with staff.
The Team Leader will be responsible for oversight of all health and safety concerns and policies related to program service delivery throughout the service area.
AdditionalResponsibilities
Complete all travel requests and travel reimbursement in a timely and accurate manner, complete timesheets in a timely and accurate manner, and ensure that all expenses are turned in during the month that they are incurred.
Review and comply with CRC Code of Ethics Guidelines
To provide Pre-ETS services to Youth under the WIOA guidelines
WIOA Deliverables:
Employment Rate 2nd quarter after exit
Employment Rate 4th quarter after exit
Median earnings in the second quarter after exit
Credential Attainment
Measurable Skill Gains
Effectiveness in Serving Employers.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
A Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavioral, or rehabilitative science, plus a minimum of two (2) years professional experience in counseling in a rehabilitative setting required.
A Master’s Degree (MA/MS) from an accredited college or university in a social, behavioral or rehabilitative science or education program can substitute for one (1) year of required experience.
Experience in case management and record keeping required.
CRC certification preferred.
Experience in staff supervision preferred.
Valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to utilize a variety of computer software programs
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work closely with business advisors, rehabilitation providers and consumers
