Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor, Social Work - Family Resource Center (LCSW Required) - Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Maternal Infant Health initiatives. Under the supervision of the Manager of MIH programs, the LCSW supervisor will lead the implementation of a new Community Mental Wellness initiative and provide administrative, clinical and reflective supervision to our Early Childhood team. As the primary clinical supervisor, the LCSW will play a critical role in supporting a team of social workers, community health workers and early childhood/parenting specialists in their work with families in the Brooklyn community.
The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation and success of current and new maternal infant health initiatives delivered at the Family Health Centers at NYU Langone including HealthySteps, Video Interaction Project, ROSE, Bonded By Baby, and other MIH initiatives. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative, clinical and reflective supervision to a team of social workers, community health workers and early childhood educators.
• Manage and coordinate program implementation to ensure program fidelity.
• Provide oversight and sign offs of clinical documentation on client charts.
• Assist with and oversee participant recruitment and engagement strategies.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders at the Family Health Centers and external community-based organizations.
• Assist with program staff recruitment, training and performance evaluations.
• Support the Research and Evaluation team with data collection and reporting processes.
• Provide guidance and support to staff including crisis intervention, case management and referrals to appropriate community services.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation of supervision sessions and team meetings.
• Assist with program reporting, evaluation and Continuous Quality Improvement efforts.
• Facilitate a work environment that promotes wellness and professional growth.
• Work with development team on fundraising and grant development. Other related duties as assigned by Community Programs leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Strong interest in women and infant health issues.
One year of supervisory experience.
Passion for working with individuals from communities affected by racism and other forms of oppression.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, including administrative practices and attention to detail.
Familiarity with electronic health records and databases.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, infant and child development, parent-child attachment, maternal-infant health and the dynamics of child abuse and neglect..

Required Licenses:New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with low-income populations.
Prior experience in child development work and parent education.
Prior experience with mental health counseling and group work.
Prior experience with research and evaluation projects.
Knowledge and experience in strength-based and family centered provision of primary prevention services.
Ability to provide leadership, set program goals, and manage crisis effectively.
Ability to establish trusting relationships and work effectively with families.
Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-focused approach.
Excellent assessment skills.
Respect for and sensitivity to the needs and rights of others, including those with differing cultural, racial, sexual, or ethnic identities.
Demonstrates a growth mindset and willingness to learn new skills beyond the traditional scope of training.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,655.84 - $95,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
