The Social Media Supervisor is a member of the team that manages and oversees ComEd’s social media presence across all platforms. The role involves strategic planning, content creation, community engagement, and monitoring social media trends, with a focus on promoting ComEd’s brand, services, and community initiatives. The Social Media Supervisor will have one direct report and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that social media efforts align with corporate goals, enhance customer engagement, and respond to issues in a timely and effective manner.
Primary Duties:Campaign Creation and Management (30%)
- Create and execute organic and paid social media campaigns. Oversee the development of engaging, on-brand content (text, images, videos, and infographics) for all platforms.
- Ensure content is timely, relevant, and optimized for each platform's audience while adhering to industry best practices and regulations.
Social Media Analytics and Reporting (25%)
- Regularly track, analyze, and report on campaign performance in relation to established KPIs.
- Utilize data insights to adjust strategies and optimize campaign performance; report finding and results to internal clients and senior leadership.
Social Media Strategy Implementation (15%)
- Collaborate with MarCom leadership and peers to implement the social media strategy, ensuring that content aligns with ComEd’s overall marketing and communication objectives.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable social media campaigns and content calendars.
- Maintain strong understanding of current trends, best practices, and new tools to improve social media engagement and visibility.
Monitor and Respond to Customer Inquiries (15%)
- Manage the company’s social media accounts, including responding to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Work with customer service and other internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns raised on social media platforms.
Crisis Management and Reputation Monitoring (15%)
- Monitor social media for potential issues and customer concerns, support crisis situations like storm response and restoration efforts.
- Develop and implement response strategies to mitigate risks, manage customer concerns, and maintain a positive brand image.
Requires ability to work extended hours in evening and/or weekend.
Minimum Qualifications:- Platform Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices, including social media management tools like Sprinklr.
- Analytics and Reporting: Strong skills in analyzing data to measure performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strategy Development: Ability to create and implement effective social media strategies aligned with business goals.
- Content Creation: Proficiency in social media writing, graphic design, and video editing.
- Crisis Management: Ability to handle crises and negative feedback with professionalism and tact.
- Collaboration Skills: Capability to work closely with cross-functional teams and departments.
- Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors:USD $83,200.00/Yr. - USD $124,800.00/Yr.
