Job Summary and Qualifications
We are currently looking for a Supervisor Rehabilitation Services to join our team. You will supervise the delivery of therapy to patients. You will provide consultations and monitor the performance of the rehabilitation staff. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity.
Your duties and responsibilities may include:
- You will provide shift supervision of the Rehabilitative Services functions, clinical services and programs.
- You will supervise quality of care and services within assigned department. Ensure patient evaluation and therapy is appropriate, patient specific and documented in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
- You will develop and implement effective treatment plans, determine goals, procedures and therapeutic modalities based upon initial assessment and physician prescriptions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy.
- Minimum of 2 years experience on an interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology); Leadership experience required.
- State of Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist.
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association)
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Bachelors Degree
- Licensed Physical Therapist, or Registered Occupational Therapist (ROT), or Speech Pathologist
