Quality Control Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring our manufacturing processes meet high standards for product quality and consistency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality control within a manufacturing setting and will be responsible for overseeing daily quality operations, including inspections, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives. Bilingual fluency in Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the quality control team, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance strategies to meet production goals and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality assessments to ensure product quality at each stage of manufacturing.
- Provide training and support to team members on quality control processes, safety protocols, and production standards.
- Investigate and address quality issues or discrepancies in products and production lines.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including production and engineering, to resolve quality concerns and enhance product consistency.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality reports.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to ensure clear understanding and cooperation among team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or quality assurance role.
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards, methodologies, and industry regulations.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English – both verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and Lead Quality Control Team: Oversee quality control inspectors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspection and Testing: Ensure all products meet established quality standards by monitoring and conducting inspections throughout the production process.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to minimize defects, reduce waste, and optimize product quality.
- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation to comply with industry and regulatory standards.
- Communication and Coordination: Work closely with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues in real-time.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions on quality standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring all team members adhere to these protocols.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on quality metrics, including defect rates, rework, for management review.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or quality management certifications preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
- Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
