Supervisor of Case Management at Willapa Harbor Hospital

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervisor of Case Management is responsible for implementing and supervising the day-to-day operation of the Case Management program of the Hospital, including Discharge Planning and Utilization Review.  Manages activities necessary to ensure appropriate utilization of the Hospital and its resources while maintaining optimal achievable standards of patient care. 

Scheduling will be 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08:00 am - 4:30 pm-. On-call responsibility is required with this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current WA State RN License
BSN preferred
Minimum of 4 years nursing care experience in an acute care setting
2 years of case management experience
Knowledge of clinical practice, protocols and regulatory requirements
Experience & Education with InterQual and Medical Necessity
Experience & Education in Clinical Documentation Improvement Prior experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement
Strong communication and computer skills required
