Job Summary:In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality and production in the extrusion department while ensuring that all company policies and regulations are being followed properly. The supervisor is responsible for supervising personnel by ensuring that the production time is met while inspecting materials to verify conformance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of operators in plastic extrusion plant operations during assigned shifts.
- Monitor the daily production output and ensure targets are met while maintaining high quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain production
- Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality control and employee performance records.
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols and operational
- Collaborate with other supervisors to improve efficiency and resolve
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment and work areas follow safety
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of plastic extrusion
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or hands on experience in running plastic extrusion
- Ability to multitask and prioritze tasks in a production
- Proven leadership and supervisory
- Commitment to maintaining high quality standards that meet customer
- Strong technical knowledge of plastic extrusion
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
- Excellent problem-solving and communication
