Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for safely maintaining all production machinery, the physical plant, grounds, utilities and develops, plans, monitors and schedules staff. Additionally, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for effectively managing all maintenance resources, adhering to budget and the continuous improvement process
Primary Duties:
- Maintains production equipment and procedures in a manner that meets or exceeds company efficiency and safety standards for all team members and insures minimal equipment downtime.
- Develops, schedules, and controls a preventive maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient team member performance.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of team members in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintains inventories of maintenance materials, supplies and spare parts at required levels.
- Recommends, plans, and implements equipment needs to improve efficiency and /or generate cost reductions.
- Looks beyond existing methods to anticipate, define and resolve complex operational problems.
- Assist with EHS Inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain accurate and complete records of work performed
- Maintains parts and supplies inventory by reporting low inventory to leadership
- Utilize continuous improvement, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Leadership
