**This role works at 605 Territorial Dr., Bolingbrook, IL 60440 3pm to 11:30pm**
POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Lettershop Production Supervisor works directly with Department Manager to identify and maintain daily working schedules within the lettershop department and is responsible for the accurate and timely production of mail pieces and other personalized items. The activities carried out within the department include imaging of both mail and personalized pieces via inkjet systems, insertion of flat and folded pieces into envelopes for mailing, card affixing, hand mail sortation, and hand inserting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination, scheduling, and daily work prioritization to maintain an effective and efficient capability to prepare mail and personalized items.
- Identify and manage any required education, training, and professional development of the lettershop staff to ensure the company retains a competitive edge in lettershop processes, schedules, and activities.
- Train and maintain daily shift employee accountability of job time cost entry.
- Ensure we are alerted to any operational changes that may affect our daily operations or our customers' mailing habits.
- Work closely with various production departments to foster and develop an efficient set of processes and procedures for completing the lettershop workload in a timely manner.
- Coordinate job status schedules between shift supervisors and leads.
- Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation of daily jobs, and directly supervises manufacturing employees. Carries out production responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Responsibilities include training associates; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

- Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily and report issues back to Manager.

- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Position requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of USPS regulations
- Ability to read and understand job tickets
- Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets
- English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.

- Body Positions: Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
- intermittent walking, standing.

- Body Senses: Must have command of the following senses: sight, hearing, speech and touch. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distant vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
- Strength: Occasionally must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will spend most of their time working in a production area that is relatively loud with limited time in a professional office environment. This position frequently requires overtime and weekend work. Travel is infrequent.
