Responsibilities:
Nothing gets past you – you see the fingerprints and the dust bunnies. You are hard-working, detail-oriented, professional, friendly, and efficient. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the community housekeeping programs to ensure that areas of the community are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner for our residents and guests. The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the community Executive Director with direct support from corporate National Director, Housekeeping.
- Develop schedules for the housekeeping team
- Communicate cleaning schedule changes to the residents and/or family member
- Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, immediately addressing any deficiencies ensuring the safety of the community
- Coordinate cleaning of rent ready and move in ready apartments
- Train new and existing staff in community and state required policies and procedures
- Responsible for hiring and supervising the housekeeping team
Requirements:
- A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
- Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of housekeeping experience required
- 1 year in a supervisory or management position in housekeeping or environmental services
