About the Role:

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in connecting individuals with meaningful employment opportunities. As the Supervisor of Employment Services, you'll lead a team of specialists, collaborate with community partners, and develop innovative strategies to increase client placements. Working under the Director of Employment Services, you'll be responsible for program management, client support, and building a robust network of referrals.

Responsibilities:

• Referral Generation & Partnership:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) Vocational Counselors.
  • Collaborate with DARS to generate a steady flow of referrals for supported employment services.
  • Market HopeLink's employment services to the business community through cold calling and outreach efforts.
• Client Support & Development:
  • Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to Employment Specialists.
  • Conduct Supported Employment Needs Assessments to identify client strengths, skills, and employment goals.
  • Assist clients in their job search, including resume development, interview preparation, and transportation training.
  • Partner with clients to explore job opportunities, make informed decisions about disclosure, and secure reasonable accommodations.
• Program Management & Support:
  • Match client skills and needs with employer requirements.
  • Support a positive work environment and provide ongoing follow-up support and counseling for clients in employment.
  • Oversee program operations and ensure adherence to all established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and treatment teams to provide holistic support for clients.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field; or Bachelor's degree with significant work experience in employment services.
• Proven experience in supervising teams and providing mentorship.
• Strong understanding of supported employment best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in computer applications relevant to the role.

• Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with experience)
