Supervisor, Digital Marketing of Sitecore - Remote - Must have Sitecore Experience - Be The Match

The Supervisor, Digital Marketing for Sitecore web development will lead a team of web developers and collaborate cross functionally with external partners and vendors as required to help develop and execute against the organization's digital and web strategies.

The main responsibilities include implementing webpage builds, component configuration, digital asset organization and content updates supporting web enhancements for B2B and B2C websites. This individual will work closely with the strategic project teams, Manager Digital Marketing, product owners, marketing managers and web development teams to execute website development and updates. This person must have Sitecore experience. This is a remote position (US). #LI-Remote

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Team Leadership:

• Ensure staffing levels anticipate needs while optimizing efficiency.
• Responsible for coaching and professional development of team members and their annual performance evaluations.
• Develop team meeting agendas, responsible for oversight of team's work.
• Promote a team culture of excellence in meeting job requirements and employee engagement in concert with the mission of NMDP.
• Set the tone for building relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with and align team on department business strategies and expectations.
• Maximize efficiency, productivity, and performance by ensuring team operations are running smoothly.
• Assist Manager, Digital Marketing in decisions regarding staffing, structure changes and retention.

General Accountabilities:

• Fulfill digital and web-related business requests in Sitecore, such as:
  • Building web pages and populating them with content components
  • Building navigation items
  • Populating content components with copy, images, video, internal and external links
  • Applying design themes
  • Organizing content trees in the CMS Editor
  • Uploading and organizing media library assets.
• Content and design updates to existing web assets, creating and publishing new landing pages, developing lead generation forms, lightboxes, and other digital engagement solutions.
• Develop a solid understanding of NMDP digital properties and identify areas for optimization or improvement.
• Develop a solid understanding of the NMDP Sitecore implementation and the presentation/UI of related data integrations and identify areas for optimization or improvement.
• Partner with creative team members to produce digital interface designs for prototype testing, and assist with running user acceptance testing, usability testing, a/b testing and other validation methods.
• Collaborate with Marketing Managers, Product Owners, and Project Coordinators to determine project needs, requirements, specifications, scope, and timelines.
• Document and organize project tasks and assist with web ticketing team assignments, to ensure the team delivers tactics on time within a deadline-driven environment.
• Over time, proactively identify web and digital opportunities that support strategic focus areas and build subject matter expertise for guiding creative decisions.
• Maintain a broad knowledge of design, user experience, interaction design, user interface design, development trends, and emerging technologies.
• QA test and validate web design and code before releasing live.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

• Experience with content management systems and digital asset management systems, specifically Sitecore. Additional CMS systems like Ektron, Wix, Adobe AEM, WordPress, etc. a plus.
• Basic HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and integration with back-end systems, APIs, and SDKs.
• Digital design, user experience and SEO best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Digital technologies, trends, and emerging technologies.

Ability to:

• Develop web designs within a content management system, leveraging coding and platform skills to modify, customize, and troubleshoot.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in digital design and interaction usability.
• Be an advocate for the end user, and their experience.
• Work independently with a moderate amount of supervision.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and is a team player.
• Work with a team growth mindset: mentor and coach team members on platform specialties.
• Prioritize and organize work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree covering digital/web design, human-computer interaction, web development or similar. Extensive platform experience and/or certifications may apply.
• 8 years of experience in a web content management, digital/web design, interaction design, front end development or similar. Experience working on digital projects from conception through bidding, production, delivery, and warranty.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

• Google Analytics 360/GA4 setup, administration, and reporting.
• Experience working in an Agile environment. Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, and/or Kanban a plus.
• Experience with digital asset management (DAM) platforms and data integrations a plus.
• Experience working in hybrid, matrixed teams.
• Sitecore experience required
