We are seeking a Supervisor, Basys Administration to lead and manage a small but dynamic team while overseeing our Basys database. This hands-on role requires both technical expertise in the Basys or Bridgeway systems and strong leadership to streamline operations, enhance collaboration, and optimize our claims and benefits administration processes.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and manage a three-person team, including a tech writer and system administrator.
- Provide closer supervision on assignments, time-off approvals, and day-to-day tasks.
- Foster collaboration and break down silos within the team to promote a cohesive work environment.
- System Administration & Upgrades:
- Oversee ongoing upgrades, including Member XG, InsightXG, remittance, and report writer modules.
- Ensure smooth system transitions, especially as legacy options sunset, for upgrades and new module adoption.
- Claims & Contract Administration:
- Manage benefit plan setups across 20–30 different plans, including collective bargaining agreements, contracts, and rate updates.
- Oversee data inputs for enrollments, monthly updates on benefits, and system settings for accurate mailings and reports.
- Data Analysis & Troubleshooting:
- Analyze and manipulate data to resolve appeals or subrogation matters for our self-funded claims model.
- Collaborate with consultants and Basys support for technical troubleshooting and system enhancements.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with consultants and external Basys resources to ensure continuity of operations.
- Liaise with various departments to align IT services with organizational goals.
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in supervising a team, with a focus on database management.
- Expertise in Basys or Bridgeway systems, including Member XG and Insight XG modules.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate large datasets.
- Knowledge of claims processing, benefits administration, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Taft-Hartley fund space is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to "take the lead and run with things."
