Supervisor - 3rd shift - Reading Truck

Under direction of the Operations Manager, the Supervisor directs the workflow of the Special Assembly / CSV department team on Night shift. You will lead the group in producing high-quality product for the customer and be responsible for driving continuous improvement while achieving expected safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. 3 rd shift - 8pm - 6am

The Nuts and Bolts

• Direct the work of Assembly team members and support employees; train employees on required job functions
• Maintain a safe work environment; respond to safety issues with urgency
• Maintain work skills to facilitate job performance as a working member of the team, and to be aware of the required skills for team members
• Establish and meet quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage the work schedule to achieve delivery requirements to both internal and external customers
• Coach & counsel employees as necessary
• Participate in and support continuous improvement activities

Required Credentials

• Minimum of (3) years prior experience leading an hourly skilled trade workforce
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to work overtime as needed
