Description:
Immediate need for a Supervising Mechanical Engineer, representing the firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, and architects. Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and assigning various projects to be performed by the team. The right candidate will be the Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and be responsible for supervising and leading coordination meetings. You will lead and supervise staff as they perform their tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria
• Supervise the preparation of reports, system analysis, and building conditions
• Maintaining interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and project consultants
• Supervising construction administrative duties such as field reports, responses to RFI’s and bulletins
• Proven Project Management experience
• Assist the technical managers and Chief Engineer in technical training and staff mentoring

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years of proven Project Management experience
• 3+ years supervisory experience
• 10+ years of experience working in a MEP consulting firm in a senior-level role
• Hands-on experience using AutoCAD and Revit since this will be a strong technical role and you will need to direct staff

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
LEED accreditation desired. EIT or PE desired. Or should be on the road to obtaining a license
