Are you a motivated, detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for construction? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Permanent Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is a top-tier position, offering top-dollar salary and the chance to work on local projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in overseeing retail, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional facilities. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Superintendent, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Managing and supervising construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Coordinating and directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule and to the quality specified.
3. Ensuring all construction activities align with the project plans and specifications.
4. Implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols, ensuring all regulations and standards are adhered to.
5. Leading and managing project teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
6. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformity to plans.
7. Resolving any issues or delays that may impact project timelines.
8. Communicating effectively with clients, architects, and stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
9. Preparing and submitting project reports and summaries to management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on retail, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional facilities.
2. Proven track record of managing and completing projects on time and within budget.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in using construction management software.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
