Job Title: Project Superintendent
Location: 100% Travel to WI, MI, MN, IN, OH, & NY (multiple project sites)
Duration: Direct Hire
Salary: $107k-$140k/year, plus Per Diem (GSA rate) and vehicle allowance

Our Client is the nation’s leading specialty concrete contractor, renowned for its expertise in commercial concrete construction across a diverse range of industries.

Job Summary:
The Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the successful, safe, and cost-effective completion of concrete construction projects. This includes managing project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and trades, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining high-quality work. The Superintendent will lead a team of staff, provide direction, and work closely with clients and other stakeholders to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee medium-to-large scale projects, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality.
• Collaborate with Project Managers during project transitions, start-up, and close-out.
• Review project documents and provide cost-effective, safety-conscious input on build strategies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower, and materials.
• Lead daily meetings to review work progress, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to prevent delays.
• Supervise and develop staff, conducting performance reviews and providing career development guidance.
• Foster strong client relationships and promote business development.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and incident-free work environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience in construction management.
• At least 7 years of experience in a leadership role in concrete construction (or 15 years of equivalent experience).
• Experience in cast-in-place concrete (site-cast or poured-in-place concrete) required.
• Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Primavera, Timberline).
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
• OSHA 30 certification, and other relevant training certifications.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to navigate job site terrain and work in varying weather conditions.
• Occasionally lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands for handling and communication tasks.
