Superintendent, Interiors - Related

The Commercial Interiors Superintendent will coordinate all field operations for the commercial fit out of a large scale, fast track project with a commitment to quality and safe construction processes. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Day-to-day onsite field supervision of construction activities, third party vendors, and contractors.  
• Maintain project schedule and proactively manage the project budget by owning approvals and deliveries, controlling expenses, and reviewing submittal data.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Collaborate with internal Project Managers, Design Managers and Development Managers.
• Drive construction document coordination phase, and review document packages for procurement and develop detailed scopes of work.
• Help formulate, maintain, and execute project schedule.
• Manage the permit process with expeditor, DOB, MTA, and related governmental requirements.
• Lead jobsite foreman’s meetings.

Compensation

• $110,000 - $160,000 / year
• Annual performance based bonus

• 5-10 years’ experience in complicated commercial building interiors. Experience should include retail, commercial and institutional with a high level of systems and finishes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experienced with Super’s license, OSHA 30, and Procore, with proven experience managing a crew on $5+ million project.
• A mature professional with excellent judgment and intuitive interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional communications skills – written and verbal.
• A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual.
