- Coordinate and supervise industrial and/or advanced manufacturing construction projects from start to finish.
- Advocate safety as the number one priority on the jobsite and enforce compliance with company and jobsite safety plans and policies, along with all safety-related regulations.
- Partner with Preconstruction, Division Management, and Project Management to supervise, direct, and coordinate the management of construction projects, including direct liaison with owners, designers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and orderly performance of the job.
- Partner with project scheduler to develop and maintain/update project schedules. Hold team accountable for schedule.
- Develop and implement production plans with budget goals in mind.
- Assist Project Managers in the preparation of project status reports.
- Responsible for daily reports, progress reports, compliance reports, and logs.
- Oversee the review of plans and drawings in accordance with contract documents and the coordination of shop drawings.
- Procure tools and materials needed for the project to ensure availability according to the work schedule.
- Determine staffing levels and timing, considering building methodology as well as the availability of tools and equipment for each phase of the construction project.
- Recruit, hire, and direct the work of all company onsite field personnel in accordance with HR processes and procedures.
- Prepare or oversee submission of payroll to Payroll Department and all documentation required to comply with HR and Payroll policies and procedures.
- Confer with supervisory personnel and employees (with appropriate assistance from HR and Legal) to resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce.
- Work with supervisory personnel and employees, engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers of tools and materials to improve construction methods and resolve construction issues.
- Ensure construction schedules are adhered to by determining appropriate staffing levels and material and tool procurement.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to monitor their compliance with subcontract terms.
- Follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee regulatory inspections.
- Must be able to travel frequently by car and air to jobsite and prospective jobsites throughout the United States and to work out of town for significant periods of time when the job requires onsite supervision.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred; minimum of 5-10 years of relevant construction supervisory experience in industrial and/or advanced manufacturing construction.
- Proven experience in industrial and/or advanced manufacturing construction including manufacturing, cleanrooms, cold storage, and food processing facilities.
- Experience in all aspects of industrial and/or advanced manufacturing construction management.
- Strong knowledge of industrial and/or advanced manufacturing construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Strong knowledge of self-performing scopes of work preferred (site, structural, mechanical, etc.).
- Current knowledge and ability to apply relevant local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing and to present information to top management, owners, subcontractors, and other outside entities.

- Must be able to traverse construction jobsites in all kinds of work environments and weather to review work in progress, examine quality of work, and troubleshoot issues.

Physical Requirements:
- Work a significant portion of the day outside on construction sites.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work at heights.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather (including exposure to extremes of hot and cold) and in all kinds of work environments.
- Able to lift/move up to 70 pounds.
- Able to stand, crawl, climb ladders & stairs, balance, stoop, and kneel, etc. (physical activities associated with construction sites).
- Must be able to withstand noise, fumes, airborne particles, etc., associated with construction sites for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license required.
