To oversee and direct resort snow removal during the winter season.

- Responsible for reinforcement of department and company standards through training
- Hire, fire, train, schedule and instruct all Golf Course personnel
- Responsible for overall condition of the golf course to the standards established by the department and the corporation
- Prepare operating and capital budgets and operate course within those guidelines
- Establish turf management programs appropriate for each course
- Establish and maintain appropriate record keeping for fertilizer and pesticides, gas and equipment parts inventories.
- Lead the water project established by TRC, organize and lead the meetings, ensure the water testing done as established by TRC.
- Responsible for snow removal in the designated areas
- Responsible for grooming of the cross country skiing trails
- Responsible for maintenance of all golf and ski grooming equipment.
- Implement and monitor Hazardous Communication Program and all other employee training programs, with safety the highest of priorities
- Develop and supervise all golf course special projects
- Tour and assess golf course conditions daily
- Conduct weekly problem solving/planning sessions
- Responsible for equipment purchase, storage, inventory and maintenance
- Responsible for landscaping; planting, cultivating, pruning, care of plants, shrubs and trees on golf course
- Responsible for records: expense, weather, material applications, inventories, and snow making
- To coordinate with SVSC all activities related to snow making to include monitoring of daily water consumption and monthly billing of the same.
- To directly supervise golf mechanic regarding daily maintenance on all equipment in winter season. This will include extensive overhaul and maintenance of all necessary equipment including snow grooming machinery.
- Responsible for coordination of all snow clearing operations at the resort. Will include working closely with the Director of Engineering.
- Monitor outside contractors for special golf course projects
- May be required to fill in for absent employees
- Comply with Everline Resort and Spa’s grooming and uniform policy
- Comply with all Everline Resort and Spa’s policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Know proper procedures for emergencies.
- Other duties as assigned
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Degree in Turf Management and/or combination of experience and training
- Minimum of three (3) years in a similar managerial position
- Ability to work with the public and function well in high impact situations
- Excellent equipment operation skills
- Good mechanical understanding and ability
- Member of Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America, prefer certification
- Commercial pesticide applicator’s license or be willing to obtain one
- Excellent communication, teaching and motivational skills, both written and oral
- Thorough knowledge and background of modern turf management techniques and equipment
- Strong irrigation background (i.e. installation, repair and maintenance, with experience in computerized central)
- Well organized with experience in budgeting and purchasing
- Current with modern turf management techniques and equipment through attendance at national conferences and local seminars
- Willing to work flexible hours and days (weekend and holidays)
- Basic first aid and CPR cards required
- Thorough understanding of the game of golf so as to understand the playability of the course.
- Able to operate the snow removal equipment.

- Must be able to work either indoors or outdoors in extreme weather.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an indoor and outdoor working environment and the noise level in the work place is usually moderate to high.
- Typical equipment used include but are not limited radios, ice resurfaces, cleaning supplies, fertilizer, pesticides, handheld devices, phones, and computers.

Wage Range: $115k-125k/year
