Superintendent at River Academy of Excellence

River Academy of Excellence is hiring a Full-Time or  Part-Time Superintendent and/or Principal to work in a Private Academic School in Allegheny County, PA located in Fox Chapel, PA.  River Academy of Excellence is a small specialized school with only 8 students enrolled.  The candidate will be working with school professionals and families for the betterment of each student, consulting on program development and implementation to ensure effective service delivery at the Private Academic School.

What You Will Do:

• provide consultation on program development and implementation to ensure effective service delivery at the Private Academic School.

• provide leadership and guidance to staff in the provision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities

• ensure compliance with all relevant Pennsylvania state regulations, standards, and IEPs.

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Strong background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs

• Excellence in communication and relationship management skills

• Knowledge of program development and best practices, as well as Pennsylvania State Regulations in Education for K-8
