The Permanent Superintendent will be responsible for managing subcontractors, interpreting blueprints, ensuring safety protocols, managing materials, and leading a team to successful project completion. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle and manage all construction activities.
- Manage and coordinate tasks for subcontractors and laborers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure project accuracy.
- Ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed strictly and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Manage the procurement, delivery, and utilization of materials and equipment.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identify and solve problems, and communicate progress and changes to all relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
- Conduct quality control activities, including inspections and site audits, to ensure that all work meets or exceeds the company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a construction management
- Proven experience in managing subcontractors and understanding complex blueprints
- Strong knowledge of construction safety, codes and best practices
- Project experience in either ground up and/or renovation in commercial or high end residential
