Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating all construction activities
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Communicate regularly with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are achieved
- Manage subcontractors, including hiring, scheduling, and overseeing their work
- Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure that they are addressed
- Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and other project-related documentation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that designs are implemented correctly
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work meets quality standards and is free from defects
- Maintain project records and documentation
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on warehouse, distribution centers, k-12 schools, or hospitality projects
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate construction activities
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools
