About the Job
Position Overview:
The Superintendent will be responsible for managing on-site operations and ensuring that all drywall projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in drywall construction and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site activities for drywall projects, including scheduling, workforce management, and quality control.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to ensure efficient workflows.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, plans, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, and other team members to align on project goals and timelines.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in drywall construction or a related field.
- Deep understanding of drywall materials, methods, and installation processes.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with construction scheduling and management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
