Superintendent
Safety:
· A proven track record of excellence in safety and job completion

· Involve employees and other stakeholders in health, safety, environmental management and associated activities that promote a culture of care and concern for people and the environment.
IT Skills:
· Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools such as: MS Office suite of tools
People Skills:
· Interpersonal skills—establish direct working relationships and rapport at all levels within the organization—communication skills including verbal and written
· Ability to work effectively with a wide range of personality types
· Able to transfer knowledge, and mentor others
Other:
· Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Proven delivery on large industrial projects
· Excellent organizational skills
Major Accountabilities of the Position:
· Assists the project team by providing input to identify key success factors, timing of
design and procurement, deliverables, and establishing common work-breakdown structures.
· Address and follow-up on all behavioral concerns related to safety.
· Ensure worker compliance with Worley’s Safety Program, Location Safety Plan, Safe
Work Practices and Procedures.
· Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews, and report any near misses to the Construction Manager.
· Ensure proper drawings, details, and specifications are issued, and are being followed.
· Evaluate service execution for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality; advise the project team of status, milestones, issues, impacts, risks, and cost influence factors to the scope of the project.
· Contributing to overall schedule and execution strategies delivering on project milestones
· Implement detailed day-to-day plans for crew activities in accordance with the project schedule.
· Effectively mentor trades personnel regarding job development, safety awareness and team building.
· Maintain clear and concise communication channels both with the crews and project management.
· Liaison with Construction and Site Managers to adequately address challenges to the work face, schedule concerns, or job performance factors.
· Participate and support project estimating and strategy to win.
· Support Human Resources in recruiting efforts.

Physical & Other Requirements
- Active driver’s license is required
- Ability to use all hand tools for insulation construction
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb use hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be exposed to various types of environments
