We are a leading construction firm specializing in commercial projects across various sectors including K-12, municipalities, retail, hospitality, education, recreational centers, historical restorations, and more. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process for commercial projects from ground up to completion. This individual will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ground-up construction across multiple sectors including K-12, municipalities, retail, hospitality, education, recreational centers, historical restorations, and other commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, material procurement, and quality control.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Collaborate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
Provide regular updates to project management team on project status, challenges, and milestones.
Mentor and train junior staff members as needed.
Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
