Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the construction process for projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and implement construction plans, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for the successful completion of cold storage projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve any construction-related issues, and ensure that work is being carried out according to specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their assigned tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all construction activities are in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on cold storage projects.
- Proven expertise in overseeing the construction and maintenance of industrial facilities, particularly cold storage facilities.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and building codes related to cold storage construction.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of successfully managing teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project completion.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address construction-related issues in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
