Superintendent - Selectek, Inc.

Needed immediately: Construction Superintendent in Norcross, GA. Selectek is seeking an experienced construction site superintendent and assistant superintendent to oversee $1M to $20M size all types of roofing and wall panel construction. Candidates will be hands-on, take full control of field operations, managing construction schedules, building positive relationship with general contractors and building owners, coordinating subcontractors, and completing all projects on time are examples of key essentials for the position qualification. Candidates must be proficient with computers and construction-related software.

Requirements:

• 2-5+ years of experience in managing multi-million-dollar commercial roofing and wall panel is preferred but candidates without this experience will ALSO be considered
• Minimum of a high school diploma or higher education in construction related subject preferred.
• Minimum of OSHA10, CPR and OSHA 30 preferred.
• Multi-lingual with fluency in English and Spanish and/or Korean preferred.
• Candidates must abide drug-free workplace policy and are subject to testing
• Must be able to travel when required.

• Hands-on manager who can direct and evaluate on-site personnel by engaging in all aspects of projects
• In depth knowledge of project specific scopes, schedule, and budget management
• Full understanding of building plans and specifications and ability to maintain and interpret construction drawings for on-site team
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with project general contractor and building owners which by solving problems and conflict to fulfill their expectations and requirements.
• Ensure all projects comply with all building codes and other conditions; maintain high-quality standards and maintain a safe working environment
• Strong analytical skills combined with ability to deliver high degree of work precision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under time constraints
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Job Requirements:
 

• Manage 1 to 4 level employees for admin and ops related matters
• Oversee all responsibilities of Asst. Superintendent
• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
• Review and approve trade contractor payment applications with Project Manager
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients, including representatives of Owner and Architect/Engineer
• Develop and maintain site logistic plan, in coordination with Project Manager
• Manage quality program
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
• Monitor costs, including labor time and material

Pay:

$55,000 - $75,000 ($26.44/hour - $36.06/hour)

• Is not required to have metal panel, roof, or glazing experience as a superintendent.
• Does not need superintendent experience on large volume projects
• Will manage shorter duration projects w/ less scope

 
$75,000 - $90,000 ($36.06/hour - $43.27/hour)

• 5-year min; Required experience in glazing, panels, roofing
• Experience with large volume projects; currently have a $40M project
• Will have more complex scope and longer duration projects

Pay when direct:  salary most likely
Term of assignment:  6 months temp to direct (paid at above hourly rates)

Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM – 5PM or as needed
