Job Details:
We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, primarily focusing on restaurant and interior construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the company’s high standards, on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects from inception to completion, utilizing Procore or equivalent project management software.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, from initial planning to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
2. Coordinate and supervise the activities of all construction team members, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
3. Utilize Procore or equivalent project management software to track and monitor project progress, manage budgets, and ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of work and identify any potential issues or risks that could impact the project schedule or budget.
5. Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
6. Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
7. Manage any change orders, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved and that they do not adversely impact the project schedule or budget.
8. Coordinate and oversee the final inspection of the project, addressing any deficiencies and ensuring that the project meets or exceeds the client’s expectations.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on restaurant and interior construction.
2. Proficient in Procore or equivalent project management software.
3. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of construction professionals.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
7. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
9. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
10. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
