Reports to: Senior Superintendent
Review Date: May 1, 2024
Salary Starting at: $85,000.00
Summary/Objective
To be the leader and coordinator of all Project specific on-site Construction Means and Methods and scheduling requirements as defined by the Syncon, LLC Procedures Manual, the relevant sections of the Syncon Pre-Award & Pre-Construction Activities Rolls & Responsibilities Guidelines, and the specific Project requirements and Construction Contract Documents. Enforce safety and quality control per government specifications and contract drawings. May operate in the areas of Quality Control and Site Safety Health Officer.

- Work collaboratively with assigned Projector Manager on all facets of the project from pre-construction meetings (attend) to post project documentation.
- Perform all project start-up and close out activities as described in the Procedures Manual.
- Responsible for Project Site Utilization Plan and documentation as required per specifications and on-site existing condition.
- Responsible for scheduling, sequencing, and phasing of construction activities in collaboration with the Project Manager and the project Subcontractors.
- Responsible for ordering and scheduling delivery and pick up of any equipment and/or material required by General Contractor.
- Perform the required project line and grade layout responsibilities.
- Thoroughly understand, organize, and maintain all project contract documents including contract drawings and specifications on a regular basis.
- Prepare and distribute all field related project administrative documents.
- Implement and enforce all required SYNCON on-site Quality Control procedures.
- Responsible as project SSHO, implement, and enforce all required SYNCON on-site Safety procedures. Hold weekly Safety “Toolbox Talk“ meetings with staff and subcontractors.
- Assist other Superintendents as required.
- Perform quality and safety inspections to comply with contract and regulatory requirements.
