Overview:

This is a temporary, full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible daytime schedule (no Sunday hours required).  Requires the ability to float between several assigned financial centers within the Sussex County DE market (mileage reimbursement offered for travel over and above normal commute to location closest to home address).  Anticipated duration of assignment: May/June-August. 

 

Our Summer Teller Program is designed to provide real-world, resume-worthy work experience focused in the banking and financial services industry. This position provides the opportunity to explore a career path in banking, while gaining valuable insight into the culture and working life at Fulton. This program can lead to potential opportunities through our Internship Development and Management Trainee Programs, kickstart an entry level banking career or simply provide a great Summer opportunity for individuals who love customer service.

 

Summer Tellers will learn directly from experienced professionals in the industry, build relationships through interaction with colleagues in other areas of the bank, and help us fulfill our purpose of Changing Lives for the Better in our communities.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing an exceptional Financial Center customer experience with passion and enthusiasm while facilitating customer transactions and the referral of bank products and services. Actively promote banking solutions to enhance a customer's service experience and achieve their financial goals. Assist with operational activities and responsibilities.

 

• Assist clients with teller transactions accurately and in accordance with bank policy and procedure.
• Foster relationship building conversations with customers to ensure customer needs are met.
• Manage risk by maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, and Fulton policy and procedure to include operational, security and settlement procedures. Use sound judgment to identify and mitigate loss.

Qualifications:

Preferred Education

High School Diploma

 

Required Experience

6 to 12 months customer service experience.

 

Preferred Experience

6 to 12 months cash handling experience.

Other Duties as Assigned by Manager:

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Each employee of the Organization, regardless of position, is accountable for reading, understanding and acting on the contents of all Company-assigned and/or job related Compliance Programs, regulations and policies and procedures, as well as ensure that all Compliance Training assignments are completed by established due dates. This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.

This is a temporary job and base pay compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including the duties of the role as well as candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials.
