Do you have a passion for working with youth and an eagerness to share your skills and hobbies with others?
Cary is seeking energetic and creative individuals at least 18 years of age who are enthusiastic about working with elementary-aged children to serve as Summer Day Camp Activity Specialists. Activity Specialists will have the responsibility of creating and facilitating age-appropriate activities and programs for campers in grades K-5, purchasing and monitoring inventory for their programs, and driving a Town of Cary vehicle as needed. Specialists may focus on activities such as archery, canoeing, orienteering, and nature studies, drama, dance, arts and crafts, music, science, martial arts, and more.
Camp Staff are required to participate in general training prior to camp.
Camp locations include Bond Park Community Center and Mills Park Elementary.
This is a seasonal (May-August), non-benefited position, up to 40 hours a week, with a maximum of 999 hours.
