Responsibilities
We are seeking a 2025 summer intern to support our Learning Management and Support Services (LMSS) contract with our Intelligence Community client. At Noblis, our LMSS contract has numerous teams that support the educational and professional development for our client’s workforce via their college. In this internship, the intern will work with one or both of our corporate-level Technical Editing and Information Security (TE/SEC) teams. Projects could range from reviewing adult learning course materials to conducting “Information Forensics” and correspondence.
Responsibilities:
- For Technical Editing:
- Conduct technical editing, formatting, and quality assurance on learning solutions, ensuring consistency and currency with the organizational standards.
- Implement version control standards for learning content and provide quality control over documents intended for publication.
- Continue process improvement in the quality assurance and TE functions through formal and informal learning opportunities.
- Develop technical editing tips on different media platforms to share information and educate the workforce.
- For Information Security:
- Learn about the different levels of classification across the Intelligence Community.
- Conduct information security analysis on courseware, communication products, briefings, and other documentation for adherence to corporate-specific classification marking polices and guidelines.
- Obtain appropriate guidance from the classification management team, course managers, and subject matter experts (SME) regarding classification of subject matter.
- Identify deficiencies in markings and provide recommendations and corrections to instructional systems designers (ISD), curriculum advisors (CA), multimedia developers, customers, and other authors of materials.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- GPA of 3.3 or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat
- Writing and research skills
- Problem-solving and communication skills
- For Technical Editing:
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Teaching, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent grammar skills and technical editing background
- For Information Security:
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Have an interest in information security and being a part of the Intelligence Community while safeguarding national security information.
Desired Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance is highly desired for on-site work
- Interest in obtaining a clearance
- Experience with the Intelligence Community and their communications
- Briefing/Public Speaking Skills
- Ability to be adaptable, proactive, and take ownership of projects in addition to active listening
- Familiarity with applying decision-making processes models
- For Technical Editing:
- Experience working in an educational or adult-learning environment or editing materials specifically for adult learners
- Experience in the development of document standards and templates, process flowcharts, and documentation associated with educational courseware delivery.
- For Information Security:
- Familiarity with IC classification rules, portion marking, and clearances
- Experience with classification management and providing marking guidance

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
