Job Description Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide impactful, connective services to prospective and current students both on and off campus in support of DMC3, a federally funded Title V grant. This position will help students make the transition to the college environment; support and advise students during their college experience; and help students with the transfer process to the university level or into the workforce. This position will work closely to support the current and future needs of developmental education for the institution, with a focus in the areas of English and Reading.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
One (1) year of related experience providing student services in higher education.
Student outreach experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field.
Knowledge in interpreting the College’s catalog.
Understanding of the College’s general admissions requirement; financial aid requirements; department requirements; and academic support services.
Experience utilizing Etreive, Datatel/Colleague, and Civitas.
