Interested in an education assignment in your surrounding area? Our client is seeking Sub-Teachers SY 24-25 in the Washington, DC area. The Sub-teacher will provide support to children in various settings including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide support and assistance to teachers by helping students with challenges outlined in their IEP assessment: ages 3-21 years old
* Maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom where assigned.
* Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
* Effectively maintain a classroom environment conductive to effective learning.
* Use positive verbal and non-verbal skills that enhance learning.
* Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, or parent/guardian in any public setting.
* Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and School Board policies.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Committed to working with a diverse student population
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with students
* Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
* Experience working with students
* Great team player with solid time management skills or ability
