Substitute School Bus Attendant & School Bus Driver - La Mesa-Spring Valley School District

The La Mesa-Spring Valley School District is recruiting for Substitute School Bus Attendants and School Bus Drivers. The job of Substitute School Bus Attendant was established for the purpose/s of assisting students with and without special needs during transport to and from school and/or special activities; ensuring the safety and sanitation of assigned vehicles; and working in conjunction with bus drivers to ensure student safety and maintenance of a positive environment during transport. The job of Substitute School Bus Driver was established for the purpose(s) of driving a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to an assigned locationon a designated route; assures safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses; performs regular safety inspections.

As a substitute employee hours are not guaranteed (substitutes can work as little or as much as desired); position is not benefits eligible.
 
ALL OFFERS OF EMPLOYMENT ARE CONTINGENT ON PRE-EMPLOYMENT CLEARANCES FOR: Department of Justice (CA) Fingerprints; Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Fingerprints; Tuberculosis (TB); CPR/1st Aid certified; physical and cleared drug screening (driver) . NOTE: The District pays for Pre-Employment clearances for Substitute Employees.
