Substitute Clerical/Office Positions - La Mesa-Spring Valley School District

There are multiple substitute positions in the category of Clerical/Office Positions that include positions both at school sites as well as at the Education Center and Operations Center. Positions in this category include: Substitute (Sub) School Office Assistant, Sub School Office Manager, Sub Office Assistant I and Sub Office Assistant II. All positions comprise clerical/administrative skills; however, the complexity and level of responsibility differentiates the various classifications.  

Under the direction of a supervisor (Ex: Principal, Director), these positions provide administrative and clerical support; monitors assigned office activities; maintains a variety of files, reports and records related to assigned duties; responds to telephone and email inquiries; assists the public and other employees as appropriate.

As a substitute employee hours are not guaranteed (substitutes can work as little or as much as desired); position is not benefits eligible.
