Position Available: Project Manager (Multiple Locations)
Overview:
We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Project Managers in the locations mentioned above. For exceptionally qualified candidates with extensive experience in substation design, we are open to considering remote or hybrid work arrangements. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new, upgraded, and expanded substations. Responsibilities also include material procurement, construction oversight, commissioning/startup support, and project team management.
Responsibilities:
Lead the scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of substation projects and proposals.
Manage project teams comprising project and design engineers, designers, drafters, and support staff.
Ensure adherence to quality control procedures for best-in-class project execution and delivery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to leverage expertise in various disciplines such as Distribution Studies, Transmission Studies, Civil Engineering, Environmental Planning, and more.
Serve as the primary interface with clients and project stakeholders, providing technical mentorship and training to project team members.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of project engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organization and planning abilities with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Advanced knowledge of power engineering principles and relevant codes, standards, and design tools.
Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience in substation design and project management.
Familiarity with client-mandated drug and background checking procedures.
Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
