Submarine R&D Analyst / Engineer

Position is in the Program Executive Office for Attack Submarines (PEO SSN), Future Attack Submarine SSN(X) Program.

Incumbent will provide support as follows:

*Conduct state of the art research into submarine systems and systems of systems.
* Provide updated industry techniques for development of the new systems.
* Develop an integrated R&D strategy and for all life phases of vessel design, build and fielding for a new class of   attack submarines
* Manage allocation of R&D resources to support development activities
* Inform future digital engineering policies that provide commonality of technical requirements

Skills/Experience

Required:
* 1-3 years professional experience in engineering
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* 10% travel required 
* US Citizen with a Secret Clearance

Desired:
* Professional certifications
* 3-5 years in RDT&E experience
