Subject Matter Expert - Strategic Trade Control Enforcement - SGI Global, LLC

SGI Global LLC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Strategic Trade Control Enforcement, with experience with the DoS Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) program.

Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate or higher level degree from an accredited college or university with a major Political Science, International Affairs, Natural Sciences, engineering, management, criminal justice or law.
• At least 8 years of experience on the topics of border management, border security, customs operations,
  customs enforcement/compliance procedures, targeting and risk management, detection and inspection activities, including:
  
  • Front-line border enforcement experience as a Border Patrol Agent or a Customs Officer;
    
  • Experience conducting investigations, gathering and interpreting evidence, conducting interviews, applying policies, laws and regulations, and writing reports;
    
  • Supervisory-level experience managing, advising, and training law enforcement authorities;
    
  • Experience coordinating training and capacity building efforts for foreign law enforcement authorities.
    
  • At least 5 years' experience as a speaker and instructor at national, regional, and international enforcement fora;
• Prior experience with the DoS Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) program
