EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management.
Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members.
Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization's management team that provides leadership and direction.
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relations.
Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
Excellent organizational management skills.
Knowledge of strategic planning
Knowledge of office administrative procedures
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence and the ability to speak clearly and effectively to customers and/or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Broad knowledge of various computer software applications. Expertise in Microsoft Office required
