Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Provide parts lists for recommended repairs
- Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications
Service Technician Requirements:
- Experience as an auto technician in a dealership setting
- Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
- Experience on Subaru's or other import brand
- Dedication to learning and progression
- A strong desire to succeed
- Team player
- Computer skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license
