Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Subarc Welder for a company based in Saginaw, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for operating a Subarc Welding machine to repair, fabricate, fitting, and joining metal and other weldable material.

Pay Rate
$20.00 per hour or DOE

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 5 00 am to 3 30 pm.

Subarc Welder Duties and Responsibilities
• Fuse metal segments, using submerge arc welding.
• Certify in ceramic tape welding, mig process, aluminum, stainless steel, 7018 and 6010 stick welding
• Manage aluminum structural/pipe fabrication turnaround: cross-country CGIT/IPB megawatt electrical power conductors
• Perform preventative maintenance, electronic robotic, pneumatic system, and initial quality control operations.
• Setting up the arc welding machine, this includes adjusting the machine.

Subarc Welder Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• At least 1 years of experience running a Subarc Welding Machine.
• Must be able to weld SA516-70, SA36, SA240-304/L and SA240-316/L material.
• Must be able to pass a 3G weld Test.
• Proficiency in welding techniques such as Mig with flux core, Aluminum, and Arc
