Volt is hiring for a hybrid Studio/Dev Ops Administrative Support in Boston, MA.
As a Studio/Dev Ops Administrative Support you will:
Collaborate with various shared service teams to facilitate day-to-day studio operations, including coordination of event experiences, visitor logistics, office maintenance and improvements, and calendar management for executive team members as needed. You will maintain relationships with external partners, vendors and other stakeholders with the end goal of growing a sustainable studio where a diverse talent team can do their best work.
• Grow and maintain a work environment that encourages the production of amazing games by providing vital resources, infrastructure, processes and internal support.
• Work with the facilities and security team to offer a top-of-the-line workplace, both in the office and working from home through office design & maintenance, health & safety, and administrative support.
• Collaborate with IT to coordinate cyber security, tools and software rollouts, infrastructure updates, advise and advocate for hardware and desktop support requirements for team members within the office.
• Work with Production, HR and Hiring Managers to ensure new hires transition into the team well by supporting the onboarding process, and developing and sharing onboarding best practices.
• Manage projects, meetings and priorities for operations-led initiatives. This role will include facilitating meetings, taking detailed notes, and following up on action items with all contributors to ensure meetings and projects stay on track.
• Foster transparency between shared services teams to coordinate resources, share project updates, and escalate issues within the site.
• Provide consistent updates to Leadership on current and upcoming priorities and risks that could impact onsite workers and project deliverables.
• Initiate, oversee, and ensure team events are executed well and to company guidelines in support of team bonding and celebrating team wins.
• Calendar management for studio lead, including scheduling franchise meetings, trainings, and networking meetings.
• Manage domestic travel logistics and handle travel schedule, meeting details, etc.
• Manage various service tickets and tasks on behalf of assigned executives and support teams.
• Reconcile expenses, complete expense reports, and serve as a resource to team members on company processes.
• Process purchase orders and invoices for Boston events, construction projects, and ongoing Facilities support.
• Take on unforeseen projects, issues and troubleshooting within the scope of the role.
This is a full-time, hybrid, 6-month contract opportunity in Boston, MA. Tuesday through Thurs in office/on-site. Monday and Friday are generally remote.
The ideal candidate will have:
• 5+ years’ experience working in an Office or Studio Operations and/or Executive Support role.
• Experience with Facilities Support and/or, Office Coordination, and Event Management highly desired.
Knowledge & Skills
• Consistent ability to focus on priorities – prioritization, problem solving, multi-tasking, and meeting project goals.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail as well as ability to see the big picture
• High degree of tact and discretion when handling confidential matters
Pay rate: $68.00-$75.00/hr Depending on Experience
