Who We Are:
This position will be working within the Defense & Intelligence Solutions Division as a Student Engineer assisting seasoned engineers to support engineering efforts related to electromagnetic spectrum manipulation.
Objectives of this Role:
- Work in defense industry as an intern with the Defense and Intelligence Solutions team
- Assist with the design, build and test in firmware development or automatic test equipment, maintenance improvements to existing designs, and new designs; develop and modify test application using object-oriented design techniques.
- Local year-round position to Warner Robins, Georgia office.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Work on challenging engineering real world problems under the direct tasking of more senior engineers.
- Solving engineering issues in the electromagnetic spectrum to enhance electronic warfare performance for our customers.
- Design and development will require the creation of engineering support documentation; utilizing selected tools during the design and implementation process; review of hardware/software requirements, designs, source code, and functional test results of the complete program.
Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 0 years: Experience and/or courses in both hardware and firmware such as electronic warfare, machine learning, artificial intelligence, automated testing, simulation.
- VHDL, Ada, Python, Basic, Fortran, C++, C#, .NET, Assembly, JavaScript, MATLAB, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
- Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to exercise judgment, diligence, and attention to detail and demonstrate an aptitude for carrying out responsible technical assignments.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
