Job Overview: We are seeking a diligent and analytical Structured Finance Analyst to join our team. The Structured Finance Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating, structuring, and executing complex financial transactions across various asset classes. This position requires strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze structured finance products to optimize risk and return profiles. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial markets, structured finance principles, and experience in financial modeling and analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling for structured finance transactions, including asset-backed securities (ABS), collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), mortgage-backed securities (MBS), and other structured products. Analyze cash flows, credit enhancements, and risk factors to assess investment opportunities and mitigate risks.

Transaction Structuring: Assist in structuring financial transactions, including the development of deal terms, cash flow waterfall analysis, and allocation of risks among stakeholders. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure transaction structures comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence activities, including reviewing legal documents, financial statements, and underlying asset data. Evaluate credit quality, collateral performance, and issuer credibility to support investment decisions and transaction execution.

Market Research and Monitoring: Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments relevant to structured finance products. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and assess market risks.

Risk Management: Analyze credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk associated with structured finance transactions. Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend hedging techniques to manage portfolio exposures and optimize risk-adjusted returns.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare investment memos, presentation materials, and risk assessment reports for internal stakeholders and investment committees. Communicate complex financial concepts and transaction structures effectively to support decision-making processes.

Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with external parties, including issuers, rating agencies, investors, and legal advisors, to facilitate transaction execution, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with transaction documents and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in structured finance. Participate in training programs, professional development opportunities, and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance skills and expertise.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree (e.g., MBA) and/or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, credit analysis, or related fields. Experience with ABS, CLOs, MBS, or other structured products is advantageous.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis using Excel, VBA, and financial modeling software (e.g., Intex, Bloomberg). Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, fixed income securities, and structured finance principles. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, Dodd-Frank) and credit rating methodologies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data, perform scenario analysis, and formulate strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Team player with collaborative attitude and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Compensation:
- Performance-based bonuses and incentives may range from 10% to 20% of base salary, based on individual and company performance metrics.
